Anjuin (暗呪音, Anjuin) is a technique which allows the user to whistle a hypnotic high and low-frequency sounds that are inaudible to the human ears.

During Japan's Sengoku Period, among all the shinobi, only a few select were taught a type of assassination technique which was only passed down orally to each generation.
By taking advantage of the range of frequency a regular person can hear, he can produce extremely high and low-frequency sounds whistling that can make people go into a hypnotic sleep. It's also said to possess enough destructive power to destroy all precision instrument within a radius of ten meters.
In 1867, the whole Japan was thrown into chaos and confusion when a large scale uprising broke out against the Tokugawa Shogunate. However, it is said that their destructive behavior seemed too manipulated and that it was all started by an Anti-Shogunate 'Anjuin' user who hid in the shadows.
